INTERVIEW WITH VOYAGE KC

Community Highlights: Meet Jillian Haun of The Beauty Project

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jillian Haun.

Hi Jillian, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I have been a hairstylist for eight years! I got the idea to combine and celebrate inner and outer beauty six years ago. I began interviewing people about what beauty is and what it is that makes them beautiful as, separately, I worked on my hair career. I now get to combine the two biggest parts of myself talk about beauty by asking questions while doing hair!

Erica's Beauty Statement:
Beauty to me is being beautiful, learning yourself, welcoming the uncomfortable and encouraging others to do the same.
I am beautiful because I am me no matter how weird that is and how unique I am.
Savannah's Beauty Statement:
Beauty to me is the love and empathy that I have for people, feeling it radiated back. It's not just the physical, it is an energy that people have. Beauty is an experience you have with people.
I am beautiful because of how deeply I feel those experiences, how I treat people and how they see me in return. I draw a lot of positive people and energy.
